Overview

AntTake is a camera report and take logging app for film and video production. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores, how it is used, and what choices you have.

AntTake is designed to keep your production data on your device unless you choose to export, share, import, back up, or otherwise move that data yourself, or choose to create a Web Link, which uploads a report to a server operated by the developer (see Web Links below).

Information You Add to AntTake

You may choose to enter or attach production information, including:

• Project names, production details, locations, dates, FPS, and shoot days.
• Crew names and camera department information.
• Camera, lens, format, roll, scene, shot, take, timecode, and report notes.
• Photos or images attached to camera reports.
• Exported files, imported project files, PDF reports, or CSV reports.

This information is used to create, manage, preview, export, and share your camera reports inside the app.

Local Storage

AntTake stores your projects, cameras, entries, takes, field history, settings, and related report data locally on your device. The app does not require you to create an account.

If you delete data inside the app, delete the app, or clear app data through your device settings, that local data may be removed from your device.

Camera and Photo Library Access

AntTake may ask for camera access so you can take photos and attach them to camera reports. It may ask for photo library access so you can select existing images for your reports.

The app uses these permissions only when you choose to add or attach images. AntTake does not use camera or photo library access for tracking or advertising.

Exporting, Sharing, and Importing Files

AntTake lets you export, print, share, and import project or report files. When you use your device share sheet, cloud drive, email app, messaging app, printer service, or another destination, that destination may process the file according to its own privacy policy.

Please check the privacy practices of any third-party service you choose to use when sharing or storing exported AntTake files.

Web Links

If you choose to create a Web Link, AntTake uploads an encrypted copy of the selected camera report to a server operated by the developer, so it can be viewed in a web browser by anyone you send the link to. If you turn on Update automatically, the app uploads the report again whenever it changes, while the app is open, until the link expires or you delete it. Nothing is uploaded unless you create a Web Link.

End-to-end encryption: before anything leaves your device, the report and its photos are encrypted with a key created on your device for that link only. The key is part of the link itself — the part after the "#" — which web browsers never send to the server. The report is unlocked only in the browser of whoever opens the link. The server stores only encrypted data, so neither the developer nor the hosting provider can read the content of your Web Links, and the developer cannot recover it or hand it over.

What is uploaded, encrypted: the report's camera, roll, scene, shot, take, and setting information, notes and descriptions, and, if you choose to include them, the report's photos. The project name, production company, location, shoot dates, and crew and operator names are not uploaded. Your name and position are included as a "Logged by" line unless you turn on Hide user name in the report options. Photos are re-encoded on your device before they are encrypted, which removes embedded metadata such as location.

What the server can see: not the content, but the size of the report and each photo, how many photos it has (each under a random name), when the link is created, updated, and opened, and whether it is set to update automatically. If you set a PIN, only a scrambled (hashed) form of it is stored on the server.

Who can see it: anyone who has the full link, and its PIN if one is set. Because the key is in the link, anyone the link is forwarded to can open it, and messaging apps keep the link in your chat history. Pages are marked so search engines do not index them. Link preview services in messaging apps may fetch the page title, which is always the generic "Camera Report".

How long it is kept: a Web Link and its content are deleted about 24 hours after the link is created, or sooner if you delete the link in the app. Deleting the roll, camera, or project a Web Link shows, or deleting your profile and all its data, also deletes the Web Link — right away, or the next time the app is opened with an internet connection if your device was offline. Encrypted copies may remain in the hosting provider's server backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.

Technical data: like most websites, the server records standard access logs, such as IP addresses, request times, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. The IP address of a device creating a Web Link is also kept for up to two hours to prevent abuse. To count how many different connections create Web Links each day, the server also keeps a scrambled (salted hash) form of that IP address until the end of the day, after which only the day's totals remain; the original address cannot be recovered from it.

Security: in addition to end-to-end encryption, reports are uploaded and viewed only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Each link's address and key are long and random, so they can't practically be guessed. Web Links created with older versions of AntTake, released before end-to-end encryption was added, are stored on the server without it until they expire. Update the app to get end-to-end encryption.

Uploaded (encrypted) reports are used only to provide the Web Link. They are not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

Purchases

AntTake offers monthly and yearly subscriptions. Purchases and renewals are handled by the app store platform — the Apple App Store or Google Play — and AntTake never receives your payment card details.

The app stores your free trial start date and your last-known subscription status on your device, and checks your subscription with the app store when it starts. No account or purchase information is sent to the developer.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

AntTake does not sell your personal information. AntTake does not use your production data for advertising.

If analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or other third-party services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe them.

Children’s Privacy

AntTake is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact the developer so the issue can be reviewed.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will be changed when the policy is updated.

เว็บลิงก์ (Web Links)
